DYL motorcycles have been importing Yamaha motorcycles into Pakistan since 1976, as part of a joint venture between the Dawood Group and Yamaha Pakistan. In 2015, Yamaha resolved its investment policy issues with the Pakistani government and launched Yamaha Motorcycles Pvt. Limited.
Yamaha is well known for its agility and endurance in Pakistan. The YD 100 model, which Yamaha introduced more than three decades ago, is still popular in the country, even after its discontinuation. Currently, Yamaha is selling the YBR 125, YBR 125G, and YBR 125Z in Pakistan. The company has blended different styling to cater to diverse customer perspectives and needs. It is expected that Yamaha Pakistan will introduce more models soon, considering the influx of Chinese bikes in the country.
