Toyota has launched this car and has updated the Land Cruiser 200 in October 2024. The car has some similar specifications but yet it has some changes too. The car is powered by 4.5 litre 32 valve DOHC V8 diesel engine. The car produces the 265 BHP at 3400 RPM and torque 650 Nm between 1600 to 2600 RPM. The car as well as includes the SUV boasts of new front grille, headlamps with HID low beams and freshly designed bumpers.
Toyota Land Cruiser has gone through countless changes, evolving from a hardcore off-road vehicle to the Toyota brand’s most luxurious SUV—without losing any of its off-roading capability. Now the automaker’s “ultimate-capability, ultimate-luxury SUV” gets refreshed for the 2024 model year.
The turbo diesel LC200 gets new injectors, a new diesel particulate filter (DPF) and other revisions to bring power and torque to 200kW and 650Nm from the previous version’s 195kW and same 650Nm. The petrol remains 227kW and 439Nm.

The bigger improvement is fuel efficiency, never an LC200 strong point but that’s now better by 8% for the diesel, down to 9.5L/100km on the combined cycle. Compliance with ever-increasing emissions standards is likely to be the big reason for the engine change, and so it’s a struggle to do that and maintain the existing power/torque outputs.
